This war is real tragedy but if you are military capable person regardless of who you think you are, it would be fair to stay and fight for your country - Russia is openly hostile towards LGBTQ+ community. To be clear, hatred towards LGBTQ+ community was listed as one separate reason to attack Ukraine.
