SerenityOS is a fun project. The aesthetic and feel are very reminiscent of 90s era computing, the build process for getting it running is fairly easy, and there is a surprising number of applications already available for the system including your basic GUI utility applications, a basic set of office software, and a web browser. I liked the aesthetic and goals of the project so much I actually themed one of my websites to look like the SerenityOS desktop[0].

Andreas any plans to get this OS working on bare metal? IIRC your current stance was focusing on building the system and have the community focus on things like getting it running on actual hardware. Would be interesting to see SerenityOS running on a Raspberry Pi some day, but I expect that to be a long ways away.

Missed opportunity to call it “SerenityNowOS”
