Interestingly, Trump's statement after the incident seems to support this. When I initially read it I thought it was odd that he noted the whizzing first, but it now makes sense.

Makes me think back to this letter a teacher wrote to his students at a Jewish girls high school I used to work at. I have it bookmarked for myself.

Dear Seniors, At our last class I did not have time to adequately formulate my farewell message to you and I would like to use this opportunity to take a second chance to convey my thoughts to you. Although we have only been together for a very short time over a few months it has been my pleasure and honor to be your teacher.
